Verrrrrryyy Interesting.
I presume at the higher engine rpm of the rotary, you will have no problem
getting the 40 amps vs the nominal 10-15 amps at VW crankshaft speeds?
And all for only 5 lbs and no belts to worry about, will be looking forward
to your results.

George, if you have any more questions about the arrangement I'm working
on, the page Dale points out was a major inspiration for my efforts.
I'm looking to use off-the-shelf parts to ease the process, but I'll
probably revisit it at some point in the future with a custom DIY setup.
