Mike, As the FAA says, Amateur aircraft construction is all about "Education and Recreation". Sometimes the Education part is educating others. We need to have patience with the unbelievers. Some need more convincing than others. Think of yourself as one of our ambassadors. Jim

Thanks Kelly,
The old-timers at the airport call me "the flying chainsaw". ;-) But that's ok. 100LL is $5.10/gal and I'm burning mogas at $3.62/gal. While nowhere near cheap, it is $1.48/gallon less than 100LL. I've noticed a newfound interest in the rotary engine amongst the airport bums lately.

-------------- Original message from "Mark Steitle" <msteitle@gmail.com>: -------------- If anyone is interested, I posted a video of my 3-rotor Lancair on Youtube. I apologize in advance for the photography (my son-in-law took the video). ;-) And no, it isn't out of focus, it was 94* the day it was taken and what you're seeing is the heat coming off the runway.
