A while back I urged that no prying be applied to the flywheel or counter weight in order to remove them from the crank. Only the factory puller, or the Racing Beat replica should be used, lest the thrust assembly be damaged.
 
A picture of a bearing damaged by prying came up on the "Nopistons" list. So here you are.
 
Note that the outer ends of the rollers dig into the washer, as the thrust plate cones under stress and only touches the outer part of the bearing.
 
This is the thin washer that sits against the back side of the front counter weight.
