Good one mate, I knew you couldn't let it go. I have a slab of steel in my lathe ready to start cutting my own single e-shaft.

After viewing some You-tube video's on singles running, I am impressed on how smooth they run - still the torque reversals have to be considered. Primary balancing will be static as Richard Sohn as done, however I notice he is now seeking the services of a balancer, which is a good idea. 

Keep us posted, BTW a belt drive would do for a single!

If anyone has an RD-1C for sale, I may be interested in buying it.  I've got one (yes another one) on order with Tracy, but the production date is way out there in October.  If someone has one available sooner, at a lower price, I'd certainly be interested.
