I'll take your word for that, but didn't you say the oil cooler is currently behind a portion of the radiator? I was envisioning the radiator being reduced in size, by the size of the oil cooler, and then moving the oil cooler forward and down to occupy that space.
 
Ohhh, are you saying that your *current* radiator won't fit in a stock cowl?

Rusty, Why not have the oilcooler with nothing in front or behind it, butted up to a smaller radiator. That way they both get cool air.

It sounds nice, but would never fit in the stock cowl.
