Paul,

You may want to try a non-Mazda connector such as the weatherprof connectors on these links.

This is the company Waytek Wire:

The Metri-Pak series would cost about $2.50 for a 4-pin male-female complete connector.  Be sure to get the seals for this type.  You'll need two 'TPAs' and one 'CPA' for each connector, as well as the total number of male and female pins.  Metri-Pak is the family of connectors used on the LT1 coil wiring harness (1-to-6 pins available, sealed, positive lock, 14 amps per wire, Delphi (was Packard) is manufacturer).

The Mate-N-Lok series is cheaper, but not sealed (I think would do just as well).  These are the connectors Jim Wier references in his Kit Planes magazines for his KARMIC connector standard (1-to-24 pins, positive locking, 5 amps per wire, many manufacturers and distributors...Mouser, Digi-Key, but by far the cheapest is Newark).

If you'd like any help with these, feel free to reply or call me during the day at 256.603.1923 (my cell).

Subject: [FlyRotary] crank angle sensor plug

Hi, fellow rotary enthusiasts....I am trying to finish wiring up my Mirco-Tech ECU.  I am at the stage where I need to wire up the crank angle sensor.  My CAS already has the Mazda, or factory plug on it.  Does anyone have, or know where I might obtain the mating plug to complete my wiring? Thanks in advance for your replies. Paul Conner
