You are correct, Bill.

Tracy liked the SS spintech sound characteristics, = however=20 both its weight and terrible aerodynamic shape detracted from its use in = aircraft. The Hushpower II (which I am now using 2 of) does = a=20 respectable job of sound suppression, is lighter, definitely better=20 aerodynamically and costs less. You can get it in both 409 and 304 = SS with=20 the 304 being the more expensive.

Tracy tested the spintech and it worked well. He then took it = apart and=20 had it duplicated in SS. Or they built him one in SS. I don't = remember. Tracy=20 said it worked well with no problems, other than the appearance. I = believe=20 that Tracy and several others are trying the Hushpower II muffler. It = is=20 available in SS out of the box and several people say it works well. = It has a=20 better faired shape, (both ends rounded), and a slimmer profile than = the=20 spintech. No long term results from anyone on the Hushpower yet.
