Hi Scott,
I am flying with an "adjustable" length manifold on the aircraft, so if I make it, so will the intake {:>).
Here is a photo of two versions side by side. The one on the left was the first and used the stock 3 port Rx-7 Throttle body and worked fine, but it was heavy at around 26 lbs. The one on the right is the current version with the cast polyurethane plastic throttle body mount and a Mustang 65mm TB. It has some excess material removed from the casting and weighs around 12 lbs. Keep in mind I have a "Plugs Up" installation which gives me more space under the cowl to play with induction systems than many.

Would it be possible for you to bring your variable length intake manifold to the roundup? I only ever saw pics of it and would very much like to see it in person...
