What is the rule of thumb for the heat shield

John, insulation is a good idea but the best way to prevent radiated heat
is to use a heat sheld. The more space you can give it (on BOTH sides) the
better. Feeding a small air bleed in the area to cary off the heat is also a
good idea. The air bleed doesn't have to be big, it just has to keep the air
moving.
