So, do ya think you can get the Feds to extend you test range to EFD (Ellington Field) in Houston????  Purley for safety of all involved so I can get a gander at that sweet 20b...oh, I hear the ES is a nice plane too.

OK, maybe not now, but when the 40 is flown off, I will have an adult bevrage waiting in my hangar.

Congrats.

All the best,

Chris

Rusty,

Thanks, I'll wear my "I love flying my rotary powered airplane" button with pride.  We're in a pretty small club when you stop and think about it.  I can hardly wait for next month's EAA meeting so I can give a report on my first flight.

Yes, I flew my Lancair ES - 20B today and she flies beautifully!

That's awesome Mark!  That's going to be a sweet flying plane for sure :-)

BTW, I'd like to offer an additional congratulations for the restraint you seem to show towards the first flight.  Perfect conditions, and nothing beyond what you originally planned.  Keep that up, combined with the great job you've done on the build, and you'll have a safe and productive test period.

Well done!
Rusty
