Shane, Tell your buddy to look for an air leak in the uintake or unplugged vacuum line. A VERY SMALL leak will cause a high idle.

Hi All

The post above is a friend of mine that is very frustrated right now. I realize that this is an aviation based forum, but thought that this would be the best place to start.

He is running a stock 13B in his RX7 and as he said, swapped out the block, but left the rest alone. Reason for the block swap was a blown cooling seal in the #1 chamber which resulted in a short duration high temp situation. Just wondering, if he may have burned out the O2 sensor, could this be a cause for the lack of low idle?

Thanks for any help,
