That is awfuly close to the 3% I learned at Kawasaki. Actually 3% of 250 HP is 7.5 HP. Sounds like the % is fairly close to the numbers I heard 20+ years ago.

Daryl Drummond says there is 8 HP between the best Weber and the best fuel injection with 38MM chokes on both. This is in the 250 HP range. So, not a big difference.
