Ed to=20 relate to your Weber experience I must tell you that when in my=20 racing/tunig days I was real good with Webers. I had a guy bring in a=20 Jag E-type with a nice aftermarket manifold and 3, 40 DCOE's. He was at=20 his wits end, having been to several shops and having spent a TON of=20 money. To shorten the story I completely removed and disassembled the=20 carbs. (to match all the parts, of which Webers have many!) I found=20 that he had 3 different VENTURI SIZES! Two different in one carb! He=20 had bought the system from BAP/GEON and it must have been thrown=20 together from what they had lying around. 3 weeks and $800.00 later we=20 had all the parts put it together and it worked perfectly. The guy was=20 so relieved he was actually crying. The point is that both systems have=20 their advantages and disadvantages. Ernest mentioned earlier go with=20 what you are comfortable with. If your not comfortable with either,=20 seek profesional help! (oops did I say that out loud?)
