I originally used the "fat" RX-7 injectors in the Renesis by simply taking a carbide bit in a die grinder and removing the interfearing metal on the Renesis block. I am now using the stock Renesis injectors (Red pri & Blue Sec.). I recommend using them as-is. Mazda knows what they are doing here and unless you plan some *really* big HP from the Renesis (not recommended) it is simply not needed. The latest software for the EC2 handles the differing flow rates on the secondaries nicely.
You CAN use the 4 yellow injectors from the 6 port Renesis if you really don't want to use different flow rates in the pri & sec.

Subject: [FlyRotary] RX8 Primary Injector modification.
I have a pair of primary injectors that I had decided not to use due to the low fuel flow and mismatch with the secondary's. The larger fat injectors I purchased will not fit in the block but work for the secondary's. I thought about building an adapter block to raise the injector and eliminate the clearance issue but that would create another clearance issue with the upper intake manifold and fuel rail. Does anyone have any knowledge about this modification process? Looks like they remove a flow restrictor.
