Will policies pay out due to death while piloting an experimental aircraft? I've always assumed companies put in boiler-plate wording against that sort of thing. Most life insurance policies do have limitations that excluded flying = any aircraft, much less experimental ones. You have to make sure you get = this all approved up front, rather than hoping it will all work out. Philips offers cheap life insurance, but it has the exclusion, so I don't buy = any of it. State Farm can certainly sell you insurance that will cover you, = but you will pay a bit more for it.=20 =20 I also agree about the lawsuit thing.
