I doubt it matter, Kelly.  While running, the immediate area will probably be lower than ambient.  There's a 200mph, fuel-cooled wind constantly flowing through it.  There's the possibility of it softening from heat soak after engine shutdown, but that shouldn't exceed the running temp of the water.
