Tracy, thanks for the report. Most likely the package was dropped during transit. I have seen in person UPS driver kick a box marked FRAGILE all the way inside my office. But anyway, just fix it please, including the air speed sensor and let me know what is the cost. What's Wild Blue?

Buly,
Got your EC2 & EM2 and checked everything out.  Here's the story:

The EC2 was acting very odd.  On A controller, got injection on the primaries (most of the time) but nothing on secondaries.  Ignition was OK as you reported.  Got no injection at all on controller B but ignition was OK there too.   Troubleshooting led to the injector switching relay.   It was not switching and secondary contacts looked open.  On close physical examination (the cover is clear and is removable), I saw that the armature (moving part of relay) was dislodged from the frame and the contacts were not lined up with the mating pole contacts.  I removed the cover and put the armature back in place then all the injectors started working and it would properly switch to B controller.   Only way this could have happened is for the unit to experience a significant mechanical shock.  (You didn't get frustrated and resort to physical violence did you? :>)  It could have been the postman too of course.

The EM2 was blinking NOP and I found the serial input to the processor was blown.  Replaced the chip and all worked well again.  See all the past cautionary notes on installing, grounding, plugging and unpluging connectors (NEVER with the power on).  Can't blame this one on the postman but I also noticed that the airspeed sensor had one of its mounting ears cracked and sensor was pushed to one side.   I pushed the sensor back in place and it still works properly but it's your call as to replace it or not.  Cost to replace is $35.

Here's the dilema,  when did the relay damage occure?  If it happened on the way back to you after the update or during installation, that would explain why you got no injection.  If it happened on the way to me this trip, we still have no idea why it didn't work for you.   I think it is too coincidental that the symptoms (and cause) match what you were seeing so I doubt that it happened on the way here.   Don't know about the airspeed sensor, did you notice that the hosebarbs were pushed off to the side when you shipped it?

Other oddity is I thought you tried someone else's controller and it didn't run on that one either.  If so, that adds another confusion factor.  All I can do is look at the facts and hardware in front of me.

I can get this shipped back to you before I leave next Tuesday if you get back to me right away on how to handle the airspeed sensor.
