Why doesn't someone who can balance a rotary crank and weights buy for $80, plus freight, and develop figures how to machine down and/or rebalance straight shift weights, of which there seem to be a plenty, to match, where the rest of us can buy these things without feeling we are using up what few there are?
Or is this way too much trouble and expense for something that is not really necessary?
If no one else is interested but thinks needed let me know and I will follow up. If someone thinks they can do balance, develop necessary information to alter straight shift weights to work, also let me know. Oh yes, if you think necessary and/or not, let me know that as well. The fact no one would want them or see a need might effect my decision. <g>

New builders/developers are migrating to the RX-8. I think there will be less and less demand for the counterweights as time goes on.
