The question I would ask myself is, do I need that much pressure with gas injection? The diesel ignition does not depend on mixture ratio, so there is no flame probagation issue. The big factor for the diesel is droplet size, meaning fuel surface area contacting where the hot air starts combustion.
Just some basic differences to be considered in the comparison.

Most engine fires on cruise ships is split delivery tubes. A time change item. A Monel
tube maybe 3" in diameter with a 1/8" hole through the middle. And pop pressures so high it fatigues the tube to death.
