I started looking for a window on Wednesday (10-8) but the weather has
been IFR between here & Texas for 4 straight days. I will often launch
hoping to find a hole in a narrow line of IFR but this was always at least
150 miles of the stuff. Fog & low ceiling here didn't lift until 12:00 -
2:00 every day. Didn't even make it to Thomasville which was my alternate
plan. Sorry I missed the many people who had contacted me about
Copperstate.

Guess the Copperstate isn't as big an event as I was thinking.
