In my opinion, making assumptions on the basis of proven performance in
race car applications, on dynos, etc... are every bit as questionable as
making assumptions based on theoretical analysis which may be based on
flawed input data.  So I'll continue to withhold any conclusions until I
see an EWP successfully flying.

The only way to prove that it works for you, is to bolt it on your exact
airplane and test it.  Prior to that point, you won't know for sure because
there are just too many variables. Of course you can't just bolt every wild
idea on your plane and go fly, so you have to pre-qualify them to some
extent.  Some people are comfortable trying to do this with numbers, and
others prefer to do with actual experience.  I guess I'm in the latter
category.  To me, a dyno run at extended high power settings will be worth
more than anything you can calculate.

The good news for you Mike is that it's all theoretical anyway, since your
plane will never be finished :-)  Ooooooh I'm bad, but I couldn't resist :-)
