Today was the first run of the single
rotor with one final configuration compound side housing. No problems
observed, except for a clogged carb jet from laying around for 6 month. No
more cast iron between side housing and rotor housing
(picture).
This is the side housing I showed at last
Octobers Shady Bend meeting. MAP was at only 20", which is all I can do with
the present setup. Since there is no dyno in my real world, I will have
to think about reworking the test stand for running the engine with a real
prop.
