First, thanks to all of you.  This list is a great community and

provides a tremendous amount of support. 

 

I will wait a few days before making any firm decision about rebuilding

the plane.

It is a heart-breaking incident, to be sure.  I feel your pain.  My thoughts are as follows:

 

Be thankful, and take heart in the fact you were not injured.

Delete that photo from your computer, and work on having it fade away in your mind.

What happened is history, just deal with the present.

Don’t be in any hurry, but decide to repair the airplane – decide later about what to then do with it.

Most likely you’ll fly it again.
