Thanks Tracy. I was beginning to think that you would be done with the RV-8 before me. So, did you spring for the BMA engine pod? I would be interested in hearing your first impressions. I'm still contemplating on whether to go for the G4 upgrade.
Another interesting tidbit from the first taxi. I was watching the temps real close. It was a cool 70* day and the H2O temp finally got up to 139*, oil was 182*. That puzzled me until I remembered that I instrumented the oil temp both before and after the oil cooler. I was fixated on the one before the cooler. I still don't know what the other oil temp reading was. I'll try to be more alert to this next time. Maybe now would be a good time to invest in a camcorder.
