Lest north be always where the nose is pointed, and if you must run
wires over the tank,
run them through a length of aluminum tubing which will not pass a
flux field.

Am I wrong, I believe that aluminum will not
shield magnetic flux, giving only electrostatic shielding; only steel will
shield magnetic flux.
