Thanks for the clarification. Guess that means I could haul 50 gallons across state lines (gas is cheaper in South Carolina by approx 20-25 cent /gallon than here).

Just for clarity's sake, the 50 gallon "limit" is a federal DOT thing.. not just at the state level.. above that level requires CDL with Hazmat endorsment, yadayada yada
