So my viewpoint is anybody who wants to experiment with
"P" ports should be encouraged to do so - we all learn from experimentation -
but, its not necessary if your objective is producing 160-170 HP.

Couldn't
agree more Ed. I still find PPorts interesting, and have some used
housings to play with, so it's definitely on my "one of these days" list of
things I want to try. If you're looking for a power level that
can be reached by either PPorts or side ports, the side port road will be much
easier to travel.
