Rusty,

I tried to find my notes from Sun n Fun, must have discarded them. So going from memory, I don't remember any provisions for oil other than in the gas. But it was cooled by a radiator and pump, this is also visible in their pictures of their plane. Got to be a BIG drag bucket.

Hi Bob,

It's always a good sign when one of these engines actually makes it into a flying aircraft.  With any luck, they'll proceed with their 2 rotor plans, and get one of those on the market as well.  I've been saying that the sport pilot market is dying for a better  80-100 HP engine choice, so maybe this will be it.

Since they don't have an oil system, how are they cooling the rotors?  Would this be what I've seen referred to as "charge cooling"?  As with all these new engines, it will be good to start seeing some unbiased user reports.

Cheers,
Rusty (what am I doing in Florence, AL)
