I wonder
if the oil injection system in the RX -8 cars was/is injecting
too much
oil. I'm running my Renesis with Shon's alternate oil adapter
and
his manual oil metering adjuster. At max. oil setting I used 2 oz.
oil while burning less than 1/2 gal. of fuel. Oil was being spit out
of
the intake past the throttle body! I now have the oil injection
rate
set at about 1/4 inch from the minimum oil injection rate. It
probably
is close to 3/4 oz. oil/ gal. This is the same amount of
oil Tracy is
mixing with the fuel. I'm not flying - still ground
running the engine
while working on the cowl and inlet
system.

For all out racing with shifting above 9,600 RPM, I use one ounce per
gallon. It sounds like you could do with quite a bit less than you are using
now.
