George, if my pipes come loose, there is no way they are coming out. Even If used my hands I can not pull them out thru the augmentor.
My exhaust pipes are 12" from the prop. After running it for few minutes I checked the blades and they were just warm to the touch? Somebody was using thermal tape patches to check what is the highest temps on the prop.
John Slade has the same setup CZ with the turbo and the same prop for over 50 hours with no problems.
I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for your concern George.

Buly,

I really like the looks of your new pipes, they are certanly "snarley".

I could not see the safety straps, which will keep the pipes out of the prop
if they break off the engine.  Cheap and light insurance.

When my exhaust pointed at my prop, it cooked the maple wood, almost turned it into charcoal, I did not have it mixed with augmented cooling air, but those plastic IVO props really scare me.

Best wishes,
