I had similar setup and every rotary racer told me to get rid of. Than I read the technical paper written by Paul Yaw: http://www.yawpower.com/techindx.html It was an eye opener. I bought a exhaust flange from Racing Beat, and I'm making one (somebody is making it for me) from two separate 2" diameter pipes. They must be equal lengths at 10 or 12" increments. Paul said in his article, bigger diameter pipes are not better for the exhaust performance. BTW, if someone wants to make the same exhaust like John's, I have turbo manifold like his. Ceramic coated inside and out, drilled and tapped for EGT sensors, and heat shield to match, also shiny silver ceramic coated.
