This discussion leads me to a
question.
My rpm reading seems accurate most of
the time, but varies a lot during a run-up.
For example, if I bring the rpm to
4700 rpm the rpm reading will remain steady for a few seconds,
then drop to around 4200, then bounce around between 4700 and 4200 without any
movement of the throttle or change in engine sound.
Any
thoughts?
