Great fun & nice flight. Did a maximum performance climb-out on departure which prompted the tower to ask what was under the cowl : ) Hi Tracy, With any luck, the controllers won't retire before they get to see the 20B RV-8 :-) The RD-1 input shaft spline is same as stock Ford C6 input shaft. There were 2 versions (30 and 31 teeth). RD-1x uses the 30. Thanks for the info. Do you happen to know if this same spline was used on any of the manual transmissions? I think if I wait a little longer, the parts might crawl out of there and start assembling themselves.
