Well, almost - we Okees were blessed with numerous wild fires. Fires to the north, fires to the east, but worst was the one to the west with 30+ mph winds out of the west and southwest. Smoke got pretty thick at times, Family was loading up precious items and pictures, some clothing and such as you think is important, loaded up the cars and pickup if needed to escape the flames. My 2 sons were here for Christmas and the 3 of us started hooking the garden irrigation up to water around the house while the wife and daughter loaded up vehicles. But praise to the Lord, the wind shifted to the northwest and took the fire that was headed for our house to the south of us and it missed by about 3/4 mile. Wind is still mostly out of the NW for now but shifts from the west at times and smoke returns, since only the worst of the fire was out but many small one still in the area. My son wants to put up an all night vigil. Plane almost up in flames.
