Well, almost - we Okees were blessed with numerous wild fires. Fires to = the north, fires to the east, but worst was the one to the west with 30+ = mph winds out of the west and southwest. Smoke got pretty thick at = times, Family was loading up precious items and pictures, some clothing = and such as you think is important, loaded up the cars and pickup if = needed to escape the flames. My 2 sons were here for Christmas and the = 3 of us started hooking the garden irrigation up to water around the = house while the wife and daughter loaded up vehicles. But praise to the = Lord, the wind shifted to the northwest and took the fire that was = headed for our house to the south of us and it missed by about 3/4 mile. = Wind is still mostly out of the NW for now but shifts from the west at = times and smoke returns, since only the worst of the fire was out but = many small one still in the area.
