The gear box was robust, heavy and expensive but appeared to be a good design.  Be interesting to see what Dave Atkins has in mind for it.  Perhaps he is going to put together a less expensive FWF effort .

Ben, to the best of my knowledge they have been on the verge of ceasing rotary operations for better than a year.  They have never sold their version of the FWF package in any numbers (perhaps 10-15) in the years they have been in business.  Basically the engine and gear box appear to be well designed (if pricey), but I don't care for much of the rest of their FWF design.  There are only two flying that I am aware of - although there could be more.
