Hi Rusty, you got some kind of disease? Show us some pics of this=20 Slingshot.

Hi=20 Dave,

I've never=20 been accused of being normal :-)   Do a Google search on "Kolb = Slingshot", and you'll find pics and specs.  I built the first = one=20 they sold years ago, then sold it later.  Last year I = bought the=20 6 color show plane that you'll see in most of the pics, = then hurricane Ivan=20 whacked it 4 days later.  That's the one I'm currently rebuilding = with the=20 single rotor.  I changed it to an open cockpit also. =20

The one=20 I just bought used to be a twin engine, using counter-rotating props, = but the=20 engines themselves were not so great, and it got wrecked.  It's = been=20 repaired, but needs new wings, which are easy to build.  I may very = well=20 make it a twin again.  Hard to say, but the price was=20 right.

I'm really in=20 the market for the perfect Sport Pilot plane.  The Zodiac XL, and = Van's=20 future RV-12 are very close, but I'd like it to be tandem seating.  = A=20 single rotor would do dandy in any of these.

Cheers,
Rusty (off to=20 cover the van with more love bugs)
