I've
had good luck with "MSD" injectors, which are actually made by
Rochester. Summit Racing sells them in various sizes, for about
$50 each. TWM sells fuel rails, which are easy to modify into whatever you
need for your application. Since George is a devoted PP kinda guy, he
won't have to worry about fitting the stock holes in the housing.
The MSD
injector is a little smaller on the engine end, and a little larger on the fuel
rail end, compared to the stock Mazda injectors. I was able to bore out a
stock cast aluminum Mazda fuel rail, and then made a sleeve to fill the gap on
the engine side. This worked very well, and it was nice to avoid the old
injector blues.
