Fuel tankers... no way no how! Considering how popular the plywood
re-sellers are down there, I'd sure hate to meet the mob who heard the price I
would charge for re-selling fuel! Besides... don't you have a 50+- gallon
reserve just waiting to be used in that RV3?

Then I noticed all the Asplundh (how do you pronounce that... sounds like
the noise my wife makes when she sneases!) trucks headed south.
AHA!!! It must be hurricane season!!! Sure enough, I check
the news when I got home.
I sure hope Rusty (everyone else for that matter) is okay. Looks
like a mean one.
Hi
Tim,
Send some fuel
tankers down here if you can :-) That's become the biggest problem with
these storms. As of yesterday, there was no more fuel to be purchased in
the area.
If all goes
according to forecast, we'll only have 70-90 mph winds, but it will be for
most of the day tomorrow. Pensacola NAS is already reporting gusts to 44
mph, and the storm is still way out there. No doubt
this is going to set some records. I bet Charlie doesn't have
too many takers on his invitation, considering that he'll likely get more wind
than I do :-)
We'll be fine
here, as long as it doesn't make an unexpected turn, as hurricanes have been
known to do. The most critical report will be the first one I see in the
morning. Gotta go pick up all the stuff in the yard before the rains
come.
Cheers,
Rusty
