All brakes now fed by stainless steel braided, Teflon-lined genuine brake lines.

Couldn't say it better myself Ed. Sad that finding this out cost that much, but I'm very glad your result is repairable! I'll bet the difference between the weight of the aluminum line and the ss/teflon an lines doesn't amount to more than an ounce or two either.
