Greetings,

I've put a lot = of thought=20 into this, and believe it's time to sell the RV-3.  I = originally=20 purchased it, because it was inexpensive, and would allow me to test the = rotary=20 engine without any significant loss of money in resale.  It was = never meant=20 to be the plane of my dreams, for all eternity, etc, so I think I've = taken it=20 about as far as I care to.  Also, I've never kept any project, car = or=20 plane, longer than this, so it's time to move on.  =

What this = means, is that if=20 anyone on the list wants either the complete plane, or perhaps = the=20 entire engine system only, contact me offlist, and tell me how much = money you=20 have :-)   Within a week or so, I'll probably advertise = it for=20 sale on Barnstormers, and see where it goes from there.  I = would=20 entertain selling the entire flying plane, the airframe only, or the = engine=20 system only.

For anyone who = hasn't been=20 paying attention, I'm not leaving the rotary engine world, since I=20 have the single rotor Kolb SlingShot in progress now. =20 The engine will likely be assembled by next weekend, and minus the=20 distraction of the RV-3, this could come together=20 very quickly.   I'm also looking at other projects = to follow=20 the Kolb.   It's painfully obvious that I'm not interested in=20 traveling, so much as just flying for fun locally, so the move away from = the RV=20 makes sense.  Deep down, I really am more of a Sport Pilot, = though I=20 might pursue a twin single rotor Aircam, or something similar as the = next=20 project.

Cheers,
Rusty (I really = just didn't=20 want to paint it <g>)
