Watching the voltage reading on the EM-2 during cranking will give an indication. If I recall correctly, somewhere around 9v is the absolute limit. May have been that I got it flooded and my battery was not charged good. All the talk about they will not start once the plug is wet is probably the problem. A short squirt of starting fluid fired it off enough to burn the plugs clean. We could see a nice spark this morning with the plugs that had been wet.=20 Do not really have a definitive answer.
