But it sounds like Jim had sold it and was not on board? My propeller started its life on that plane - feels kind of eerie.... Terrible loss for the pilots and their families. Also not good for rotary aviation movement. I found a page for Transport Canada, that had some final reports of accidents, but is there anywhere that will list the initial reports, and details as they're available, like the NTSB page does? I know that I would be very hard pressed to ever sell my RV-6. There are just too many quirks to turn it over to someone else. I have to admit that I've been thinking a lot about this myself. I had no qualms about selling my RV-8 with the "standard" Lycoming, but I don't know if I could sell the RV-3 complete.
