Jim had flown it down to Tracy's gathering a couple of years ago. He told me he sold it and I had received several e mails from the gentleman who purchased it concerning some of the Rotary engine aspects. To the best of my knowledge, Jim never had any serious problems with it other than losing both water pump belts and cooking one engine he had in it - got him back to the airport. He had fixed the Ross drive by adding a thrust bearing and more lubrication. As mentioned, the aircraft always appear to be well maintained when I saw it.
