Since I've returned from school I've been pretty busy building a large 32'x36' garage/shop. It began to rain the day I dug the hole for the foundation and we haven't had a day without rain since, so it has turned into a real mud hole. All the cement work is now complete and I'm just backfilling it now and will begin all the steelwork next. I'm doing all the work myself with no assistance. This has kept me busy till dark every night, so most nights I don't even look at my e-mail and due to the exponential increase in list chatter about politics, o-rings, etc. I've just started to due a few mass deletions, while trying to filter out the subjects that interest me. There are many legitimate e-mails that I really need to respond to and will attempt to get to them. Congrats on surviving another hurricane unscathed and to Ed for surviving another one of his adventures as well as to Dave for his good luck/bad misfortune and all the first starts, etc, etc... As far as my plane, well my neighbour who is a commercial pilot, says it is still there. I haven't been able to get up there for more than three months. The last time I went to go fly, I had that brake fire similar to Ed's (different cause). I bought new parts which arrived just as we were moving to our new home, so they are all packed away still.=20 I'm hoping to find some time to fly in the next month, but my schedule is pretty booked up already. To be honest, the weather here this year has been so poor that there hasn't been very many days that I even wanted to go fly. I do have some pretty cool aviation news (non-rotary), to share with the group related to a discovery I've made on my new property, but I'd like to do a little research first to ensure I have the facts correct. =20 Todd =20 ps. there is a cow & calf moose living on & around my land, but they haven't trampled me yet, however I'm still playing summer league hockey and there is a few co-ed teams with some pretty mean girls that have tried to incapacitate me.. :-) ________________________________ From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of Russell Duffy Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2005 1:33 PM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Where the heck is Todd?=20 =09 =09 And when was the last time he actually flew his plane? =20 =20 At this point, I'm just going to assume that he was trampled by a big moose, or incapacitated by one of those girls hockey teams he plays against :-) =20 Cheers, Rusty =20 ------_=_NextPart_001_01C59150.ADAEF458 Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Message
