Hi Rusty & All;
  SNIP

.
    What should I expect for a static RPM with a 76" 3 blade prop set at approx. mid range (60"). I can get 5000 RPM with about 2-3psi boost. This is not quite full throttle, but I don't really want to boost much at this altitude as I'm running the 9.4:1 rotors. Also the plane starts dragging at this, so I don't really want to push it any harder. Reading the archives I find Ed reports a static of 5200-5400 RPM, but that's a 2 blade ( ? X ? ). Tommy reported 4350 RPM with a 3 blade ( ? X 60) @30"MAP.

Todd, my prop is a 68x72 two blade if that helps.  Tracy Crook has the same prop and gets static rpm in the same range as I do 5200-5400 rpm
