The rad would have 100 sq inch more core face area and as much volume as two
GM cores, so assuming the airflow is adequate and the engine power in the
same range as is common in our application of two GM cores - say 160 - 190
HP or there abouts, I can see no reason why it could not be made to work.
BUT a lot would depend on the ducting and airflow. For instance if the rad
is perpendicular to the air flow you get the maximum benefit. If the air
flow entering the core is too oblique an angle then you can get turbulence
at the entrance to the core passages hindering good cooling - or if the exit
is obstructed by being two close to the firewall, or if the diffuser does a
poor job - for a couple of examples. Having it exposed to the radiant
heat of a unshielded exhaust system could also have an adverse effect. So
the potential for adequate cooling is there - whether it does or not depends
on how its installed and other factors mentioned.
