The hot side oil cooler temps are only 220 max. The highest coolant temp was 210 when I climbed WOT from sea level to 3K. The test this morning was with the cowl flap clamped open.

Congrats on the success so far, though the oil temps are a bit toasty considering the OAT and limited climb.  That's a great looking cowl flap!  How do you plan to actuate that bad boy?

What is your inlet (water and oil) and outlet area now?  I was looking at an RV-7 cowl today, and just can't get over how little exit area there is for a 200 HP engine.  Really irritates me, considering I have about 4 times that :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (flying again very soon)
