The highest coolant temp = was 210 when I climbed WOT from sea level to 3K. The test this morning was = with the cowl flap clamped open. =20 Congrats on the success so far, though the oil temps are a bit toasty considering the OAT and limited climb. That's a great looking cowl = flap! How do you plan to actuate that bad boy? =20 =20 What is your inlet (water and oil) and outlet area now? I was looking = at an RV-7 cowl today, and just can't get over how little exit area there is = for a 200 HP engine.
