Where is 'stagnation pressure' and where
is static pressure, and how are you measuring them?

Hi Al, The picture shows the total and static probes located in the radiator intake duct. Total is the pitot in the middle and there is a wall static. I used "U tube water manometer" to read the differential. The 6 inches of water sounded too large and was. Some water had got in one of the lines and was biasing the answer up. Will repeat tomorrow and get numbers again, cowl door open and closed.

Too pooped this pm to fly again even though the weather was great. Am in midst of cockpit noise abatement program. Have a "Hushpower II" muffler hard mounted under the seat area and it is yuky noisy. Tracy told me this would happen and it did. Hard to argue with Tracy's experience.
